“Wings and Woodlands” Special Events

Learn about and support Kauai Forest Bird Recovery Project at a beautiful exhibit at Kauai Society of Artists open November 2nd through 8th from 12pm to 6pm with special events daily! All events held at Kauai Society of Artists unless otherwise indicated.

Nov 1: Meet the stewards at an opening reception at 6:00pm on Friday, November 1st.

Nov 2 11am-2pm: “Vanishing Voices: Saving our Hawaiian Forest Birds” Documentary Screening 11am, 12pm and 1pm complimenting the Community Climate Fair and Arbor Day. Located in the Food Court next door to Sones.

November 3, 1pm:  Plants for the Birds: Native Plant Show & Tell with NTBG

November 3, 4pm: MANA I KA MELE KĀHEA Learn a mele with Kumu Kehaulani Kekua

November 4 & 6, 4pm:  CULTURE TO CANVAS: FOREST BIRD SPECIAL with Kumu Kehaulani Kekua (fee for supplies)

November 6 & 7, 10am: KAHILI PA’A LIMA WORKSHOP with Kumu Kaeo Bradford (fee for supplies)
