KCC COGS Exhibit: Exploring Fear and Phobias
Thu and Fri 4pm-7pm; Sat and Sun 11am-2pm and 3pm-7pm
Join the KCC Cognitive Learning Center for a sensory based walk through experience for the public.
To accompany Halloween activities, the vision for this exhibit is to create an immersive space where participants journey through an audio narrated
setting exploring 4 common phobias.
● Arachnophobia – fear of spiders
● Claustrophobia – fear of small spaces
● Acrophobia – fear of heights
● Mazeophobia – fear of getting lost
The Cogs mission is to inspire and encourage inquiry, exploration, and hands-on learning to excite students of all ages. Inspired by The San Francisco
Exploratorium and other museum exhibits like Goose bumps at The California Science Center, Cogs has hosted a few S.T.E.M. based walkthroughs on campus at Kauai Community College. This is the first such walk through at Kukui Grove Center!
Volunteer based it will be open: 10/24 and 10/25 from 4pm to 7pm as well as 10/26 and 10/27 from 11am-2pm and 3pm to 7pm.
