Community Climate Fair
The Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Commission (CCMAC) will be hosting a community climate fair on Kauaʻi!
CCMAC will be holding a Community Climate Fair on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, 11am to 2pm on the Kukui Grove Center concourse. The event is FREE to the public! There will be many interactive booths showing the residents of Kauaʻi what each of us can do to become better stewards for our ‘Āina. Please join us and become a champion for our environment!
Participating groups include The Nature Conservancy, Zero Waste Kauai, Kauai Climate Action Coalition, Friends of Kauai Wildlife Refuges, HIEMA, American Bird Conservancy and more. Plus don’t miss the “Wings and Woodlands” exhibit by the Kauai Forest Bird Recovery Project and an hourly screening of the new documentary “Vanishing Voices: Saving our Hawaiian Forest Birds” at 11am, 12pm and 1pm in the Food Court next door to Sones.
Stay to participate in a free prize drawing at 1:30pm, must be present to win, restrictions apply.
